Scholarship Applications are due on Friday, April 19th

The Villa Park Junior Women’s Club is sponsoring a scholarship program to benefit two female Villa Park high school seniors. The purpose of this scholarship is to acknowledge and reward the involvement of women who actively serve their community.

Up to two scholarships worth $1000 each will be awarded at the Senior Awards Night(s) at the recipients’ high school in the spring. The recipient decision will be based on the individual’s community service involvement described in the application and personal statement. This scholarship is not awarded based on financial need.

Qualifications

Be a current female-identifying resident of Villa Park, Illinois
Have high school senior status
Will be attending an accredited college, university, community college, or trade school in the fall of 2024.
Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.8/4.0 or equivalent (depending on scale)
Have participated in a minimum of two (2) community service activities (This includes the current semester of application)
